Paul Heard
CIO
Paul Heard is Chief Information Officer at Trinidad Benham, a century-old, employee-owned leader in private-label pantry essentials. He sets technology strategy there and leads a multi-year, business-led ERP modernization. He also leads AI-accelerated software delivery, platform governance and cybersecurity resilience across a multi-site manufacturing and distribution footprint. Paul has spent more than two decades turning technology vision into business results. He has orchestrated over $10B in M&A transactions. That includes leading the finance technology team that delivered its part of HP’s $60 billion separation into two companies in nine months. He is CEO of Oxonian Technology Partners, a strategic advisory firm that helps SaaS founders find product-market fit, scale revenue and margin, avoid technical debt, and prepare for successful exits. He also advises Laminar (Y Combinator–backed), ChangeSteward and Graphio.ai on enterprise strategy, go-to-market and AI-driven products. Paul holds an MA and a PGCE in Mathematics from the University of Oxford, plus GenAI certifications. He has been featured in Tech Executive Club’s Top Innovator series and in interviews on leadership under pressure. He speaks at events such as Colorado Startup Week. His philosophy is to simplify first and then automate, to put customer problems ahead of features, and to lead with curiosity rather than expertise. Outside work, he teaches kids to ski, hikes, and volunteers with Habitat for Humanity. He lives in the Denver area.
